Beatriz Esguerra Art proudly presents at ARTBO 2024 the works of six renowned Colombian artists who explore the complexities of nature, identity, and the human experience through painting and works on paper.
Camila Echavarría’s paintings merge the natural world with mathematical precision. Using the Fibonacci sequence, she creates ethereal landscapes that reflect the harmony found in nature, such as spirals in plants and shells, offering a glimpse into the underlying order of the universe. Carlos Alarcón presents hyperrealistic depictions of everyday objects, particularly pills and capsules, provoking reflection on modern society’s relationship with consumption and how these objects shape our lives. Pedro Ruiz, known for his evocative symbolism, explores nature through flowers and hammocks, symbols of transformation and stillness. His works invite contemplation, revealing secrets about our identity and connection to the natural world.
In the realm of works on paper, Teresa Currea, Angélica Chavarro, and Pablo Arrazola take the viewer on introspective journeys. Currea’s surrealist drawings blur the lines between fantasy and reality, creating whimsical worlds that challenge our perception of existence. Chavarro’s intimate works, rich with organic motifs, guide the viewer inward, encouraging a search for inner peace and tranquility. Arrazola’s hyperrealist drawings of children capture the spontaneity of youth, while exploring humanity’s desire to break free from imposed limits, reflecting the tension between constraint and the yearning for liberation.

Beatriz Esguerra Arte se enorgullece de presentar en ARTBO 2024 las obras de seis renombrados artistas colombianos que exploran las complejidades de la naturaleza, la identidad y la experiencia humana a través de la pintura y el trabajo sobre papel.
Las pinturas de Camila Echavarría combinan el mundo natural con la precisión matemática. Utilizando el sistema de Fibonacci, sus paisajes etéreos reflejan la armonía presente en la naturaleza, como espirales en plantas y conchas, ofreciendo una visión del orden subyacente del universo. Carlos Alarcón, con sus representaciones hiperrealistas de pastillas y cápsulas, invita a reflexionar sobre la relación de la sociedad moderna con el consumo y cómo estos objetos moldean nuestras vidas. Pedro Ruiz, conocido por su simbolismo evocador, explora la naturaleza a través de flores y hamacas, símbolos de transformación y quietud.
